| about us... Hello! My
name is Sharon Disher. As owner and principal designer of Annapolis Redesigns,
my goal is to give your home a fresh new look with the things you already own! Life
on the move as an Air Force daughter, naval officer* and Navy wife and mother
has certainly afforded me the opportunity to repeatedly design "new"
warm and comfortable rooms utilizing the same basic furnishings. Having
moved more than 18 times in the last 26 years, I have decorated homes from small
fixer-uppers to a 6000 square foot historic home at the United States Naval Academy.
Always on a budget, I was nevertheless able to use color, combined with furnishings
that I found at bargain prices, to create a finished designer look at minimal
cost. As friends began asking for help in decorating
their own homes, I quickly learned that my love for interior design extended well
beyond my own front door. Thus, a longing to own my own business and pursue my
passion of helping others achieve comfort and beauty with their own personal treasurers,
led me to open Annapolis Redesigns. My uncle,
George Snead, interior redesigner and owner of The
Wakefield Collection in Stamford, CT (featured on the Oprah show) inspired
me to train and obtain certification as an interior redesigner and real estate
stager with the Interior Redesign Industry Specialists (I.R.I.S.). My
team and I thank you for visiting and we look forward to working with you to give
your own treasures a fresh new look! Sharon
Disher, I.R.I.S.
